🧾 Ingredients (2–3 servings)
- 400 g firm or extra-firm tofu
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Black pepper to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the tofu
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Press tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into bite-size cubes.
2️⃣ Season
Place tofu in a bowl.
Add olive oil and soy sauce, tossing gently to coat.
3️⃣ Coat for crispiness
Sprinkle over cornflour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
Toss carefully until evenly coated.
4️⃣ Bake
Spread tofu on a lined baking tray in a single layer.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
